At the start of each Parent Information Session, we begin by simply stating this:

From a place of authenticity, we support all families in their pursuit of the best education for their families. And equally so, we need to provide an answer to the question: In an area flush with school choice… Why Wilder?

The Wilder School is Winchester, Massachusetts’ independent school founded on the principles of self-paced academics, character development, and experiential learning. We are a private school that provides a homeschooling alternative, as well as an alternative to the traditional education format of teachers, tests, grades, and lectures. We understand that our method is not for every family, but for those who are brave enough to seek a whole-child education, we support you in your search for the best education for your family - whether or not that is with our school.
